After graduating with MBBS from Madras Medical College, Chennai in 2000, he pursued MD in General Medicine in JIPMER, Pondicherry in 2006. Later he did DM in Medical Oncology from AIIMS in 2011.
He has the Life Membership of the Indian Medical Association (IMA).
He has also published articles in several international journals.
