About Doctor

Dr. RS Rai is one of the famous Urologists in Mohali.
He started his medical career in 1984 after passing out an MBBS course from the prestigious Nalanda Medical College & Hospital, Patna, and joined Army Medical Corps (Indian Army).
While serving with the Indian Army, he successfully completed his post-graduation (MS) in Surgery from Delhi University (Army Hospital, R & R) and super–specialization (M Ch) in Urology from PGIMER, Chandigarh.
He took further training in urodynamics, laparoscopy, RIRS, and use of the laser (KTP/Holmium) in urology.
He also attended various workshops and CMEs to update himself on these newer procedures.
Dr. Rai was awarded the prestigious Chief of Army Staff Commendation Medal in 2007.
