He completed his MBBS from M.P. Shah Medical College, Jamnagar, Gujarat in 2004, followed by an MD in Medicine from M.P. Shah Medical College & Guru Gobind Singh Hospital, Jamnagar, Gujarat, in 2009, and later pursued a DM in Cardiology from Christian Medical College, Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India in 2014.
During his time at CMC, he was honoured with the Dr. G M Cherian Gold Medal for being the Best Outgoing Student in DM Cardiology.
He also underwent training at Seoul, Korea and Hong Kong University for advanced techniques in Angioplasty and stenting like OCT & FFR.
Dr. Patel has contributed to numerous original research projects, with several publications in reputed national and international journals, and has delivered presentations at prominent medical conferences.
He was a zonal finalist in the Torrent Young Scholar Award (TYSA) competition during both his MD (Mumbai, 2009) and DM (Bangalore, 2013) studies.
